Accept and Proceed commissioned us to create this film for Nike to highlight the advantages of 5 football boots. Each boot has a tread specifically designed for different surfaces and environments. Accept and Proceed created a graphic language to show the interaction between the treads and surfaces, we translated this into motion.
I used photogrammetry to 3D scan each boot and re-modelled them in Cinema 4D. I rigged each boot allowing us to animate them as if they were being worn by a player. Each environment was specifically constructed in 3D meaning it could be dissected to demonstrate the interaction between the tread and the ground. The project was lit and rendered using Arnold.
