I wanted to experiment with the new volume builder in Cinema 4D R20. I decided to recreate a coke bottle, as it has a very iconic design and shape, that appears to be simple. In actuality it has a lot of complex facets and intricate shapes. It was the perfect test for volume builder.
Once we had finished the model, I wanted a way to show obviously that the bottle was CG, rather than one photographed. I animated it with a twist (literally) added water droplets, lit, rendered and threw in some sound effects for the result below.
